Is it permissible to tie up some property for the wife so that she may benefit from it and its profits during her lifetime and after the husband's death, but she is not allowed to dispose of it by sale or gift?

Allah has permitted a man to marry up to four women, provided he treats them justly. It is not the wife's right to stipulate ownership of half of what the husband owns.

The husband can bequeath to her whatever he wishes, but this bequest is not executed unless the heirs agree to it after his death, according to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no bequest for an heir."

He may also gift her whatever he wishes during his lifetime, provided that he relinquishes possession of it and the wife takes possession of it as a lawful acquisition.

As for a gift conditional upon death, it is considered a bequest, and it is a condition for a gift that it be taken possession of during the lifetime of the giver.

The wife should fear Allah, obey her husband, and abandon defiance.
