Is it permissible to sell electronic cigarettes that you received in lieu of a debt unpaid by the merchant, knowing that they are forbidden goods that were shipped without your knowledge?

It is not permissible for you to sell prohibited items, such as electronic cigarettes, neither in lieu of your right nor for any other reason. This is because selling prohibited items is forbidden, harms others, and corrupts society. Furthermore, the price of prohibited items is unlawful, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, when He forbids the eating of something, He also forbids its price."
