Is it permissible to partner with friends, one of whom secures projects and the other secures materials through deferred payment purchases, and then the profits are equally divided after deducting expenses?

Scholars have differed concerning the ruling on face-to-face (Wujuh) partnerships:

- The Malikis and Shafi'is held that it is invalid due to the absence of capital or labor, and because it involves Gharar (excessive uncertainty). - The Hanafis and Hanbalis held that it is permissible because it is a type of labor, people commonly engage in it, and it is a partnership in capital where profit can be differentiated.

Based on the view that it is permissible, there is no objection to the aforementioned partnership.
