Should a husband divorce his wife or take her back, given that they have an 11-month-old child, and she was ill with "Hepatitis B" before marriage, and there are problems between them that are not due to the illness?

Divorce is permissible in Islamic law, especially if there is a need for it. However, its effects are dire and its consequences severe, particularly for children. Therefore, it is not advisable to rush into it unless the harm of divorce is less than the harm of continuing the marriage. In such a case, the lesser of two harms should be chosen.
