What is the ruling on someone who obligated themselves to fast three consecutive months and recite one part (juz') of the Qur’an daily as a punishment for an act that is not forbidden, then became unable to fulfill this obligation; and is expiation for an oath (kaffarat al-yameen) sufficient for them instead of fasting, and what is the value of this expiation in Egyptian Pounds?

Whoever swears an oath not to do a certain thing by one of the names of Allah Almighty or one of His attributes, and then does what he swore to abandon, must offer an expiation for breaking an oath (kaffarat yamin). However, if he does not do what he swore to abandon, then there is no expiation upon him. But if he does what he swore to do, and fasts for three consecutive months, and recites one part (juz') of the Qur’an daily, then there is no expiation upon him. It is permissible to interrupt obligatory fasting, such as during Ramadan, or fasting that is prohibited, such as during menstruation or Eid, while maintaining the consecutive nature [of the expiatory fast].
