What is the ruling on a worshiper leaving the mosque immediately after finishing the prayer?

Preserving the performance of prayer in the mosque is a good thing, but missing the recitation of the mu'aqqibat (post-prayer remembrances) loses a great reward. Ayatul-Kursi is a cause for entering Paradise, and the tasbih, tahmid, and takbir after prayer are a cause for the forgiveness of sins. It is hoped that the reward for these adhkar (remembrances) will be obtained even if they are recited outside the mosque, although reciting them in the mosque is better and carries a greater reward. These adhkar are not invalidated by hadath (minor ritual impurity) or by leaving the mosque. It is disliked for the ma'mum (congregant) to depart before the imam without an excuse. The Muslim should strive to accustom themselves to remaining in the mosque for worship and dhikr, for Allah rejoices in that.
