What is the legal ruling on a married man who raped a minor, then married her to avoid legal prosecution, and then divorced her? Does Allah's judgment against him fall away by marriage or by the passage of time? And what is the ruling on laws that contradict Sharia, and are they binding?

Adultery is a grave indecency. The punishment for a married adulterer is stoning, and for an unmarried one, it is a hundred lashes. The crime becomes more severe if the girl is a minor or has been raped. The perpetrator of this crime must offer sincere repentance, seek forgiveness, and resolve never to return to the sin. He must also conceal his deed. He is obligated to pay the customary dower (mahr al-mithl) to the raped girl. It is recommended for him to marry her after ensuring she is not pregnant by waiting one menstrual cycle. However, this marriage does not waive the prescribed punishment (hadd) if the matter reaches the ruler, nor does it waive the woman's right except by her forgiveness. Man-made laws that contradict Islamic law are null and void.
