The womb of an adulteress must be purified before cohabiting with her. If the marriage took place without the husband knowing about her past, and there is no way to prove it except with the testimony of four witnesses, then the marriage is valid. If a child is born, and she delivers it before six months, it is not attributed to him; but if she delivers it at six months or more, it is attributed to him. The woman must repent, and she should not inform her husband about it; rather, she should be shielded.
