What is the ruling regarding a girl's prayer if she performed ghusl after menstruation without seeing the white discharge, then she caught half an hour of the Dhuhr prayer time, and then the 'Asr adhan was called during her second rak'ah? And is her prayer acceptable if she later saw a brownish discharge before Maghrib and after 'Isha', then she woke up before Fajr and performed ghusl and prayed Fajr, then she found a brownish discharge on her clothes and did not know when it appeared?

A woman must perform ghusl (ritual bath) after confirming her purity, even if she does not see the white discharge (al-Qassah al-Bayda'). Her Dhuhr prayer is valid as long as she caught at least one unit (rak'ah) of it. As for the brownish discharge (al-kudrah) after that, if it occurs during her habitual period, it is considered menstruation. If it occurs outside her habitual period, it is not considered menstruation. Any brownish discharge found after Fajr prayer is, in principle, attributed to the closest time it could have occurred, and her prayer is valid. If the brownish discharge is not considered menstruation, then ghusl is not required for it; rather, istinja' (washing private parts) and wudu' (ablution) are sufficient.
