Is it permissible to name or refer to a book in a specific field of knowledge as the "Qur'an" of that field, such as saying "this book is the Qur'an of physics," likening it to the Qur'an in its capacity as a reference for that field?

We are not aware of any evidence that prohibits naming it "Qur'an of Mathematics," but we advise against it due to the vast difference between the Holy Qur'an—the authenticity of which is certain, and which is described as guidance, mercy, light, and the best of speech—and these books, the contents of which are not certain, and which should not be likened to the Qur'an.
