Is it permissible to perform the Sunnah prayer during the Adhan, and which is better: repeating the Adhan and missing the Sunnah prayer, or performing the Sunnah prayer and omitting the repetition of the Adhan?

The answer to the Muezzin is a Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, and obligatory according to the Hanafis, Zahiris, and some Malikis. It is recommended to say what the Muezzin says, then to send blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then to ask Allah for him the Wasilah (means of proximity), and then to perform the Sunnah prayer. It is better not to begin the prayer during the Adhan, but if one does, there is no sin. It is permissible to advise the Muezzin not to prolong the Adhan.
