Does a person find a lost item if he says: "Ya Jami', Ya Raqib"?

Some common folk believe that the names of Allah possess special properties and secrets, and that each name has a spiritual servant (khadim ruhani), or that it cures a specific illness. This is speaking about Allah without knowledge. There is no harm in supplicating with the two names of Allah, "Al-Jami‘" (The Gatherer) and "Al-Hadi" (The Guide), for someone who has lost something, because of their suitability for what is sought, while observing proper etiquette when supplicating with Allah's Most Beautiful Names. This etiquette is to ask Allah for every request using the name most appropriate for it, such as saying: "O Ghaffar (The Forgiver), forgive me." The important thing is that the supplicant should not believe that this supplication is a sunnah to be followed.
