Is it permissible to hasten with the funeral procession such that some people do not catch up with it?

It is recommended to hasten the funeral procession, as stated in the Hadith: "Hasten with the funeral." This hastening should be quicker than ordinary walking but without jogging, such that it does not harm the deceased, or cause hardship to those carrying or following the bier, or cause the bier to fall.
