Is it permissible to wear a wig for one's husband, or for women, or for Mahrams due to premature graying and extreme sensitivity to dyes?

We have previously clarified that wearing a wig is a matter of scholarly disagreement, and our preferred view is that it is permissible to wear it out of necessity and to remedy a defect. If graying hair is considered a defect and causes embarrassment to its owner, and it is difficult to find a dye that removes it without harm, then in this case there is no objection to wearing a wig out of necessity. The woman should inform the suitor of this.
