How can a Muslim live his life and preserve his faith in the face of harassment, marginalization, and injustice because of his name "Omar"?

If the current name causes harm and annoyance, there is no harm in changing it to another name. However, it is not permissible to change one's father's name or to attribute oneself to anyone other than him, due to the sacredness of that.
