Is it permissible to purchase electronic equipment with Zakat funds for an elementary school from which students benefit?

Zakat funds should not be spent on purchasing equipment used by all students (both poor and rich), because Zakat has its designated categories as stated in His Almighty's saying: "Indeed, [ prescribed ] charitable offerings are only to be given to the poor and the needy, and to those who work on [ collecting ] them, and to those whose hearts are to be reconciled, and to [ free ] those in bondage, and to the debt-ridden, and for the cause of Allah, and to the wayfarer; [ this is ] an obligation from Allah, and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise." Even if all students were eligible recipients of Zakat, purchasing equipment for them is considered giving the value [of Zakat] rather than the Zakat itself, which is not permissible according to the majority of scholars and lacks the condition of ownership transfer.
