Is the intention behind the saying of some exegetes that the Qur’an is comprehensive of all the laws of Heaven until Allah inherits the earth and all upon it, that the laws of previous scriptures were mentioned in detail in the Holy Qur’an?

The Holy Quran contains everything people need for their guidance. It is an exposition of all things, and a guide, a mercy, and glad tidings for Muslims. It confirms the previous Scriptures and is a guardian over them. This means that it encompasses what the previous books contained, with additional divine requirements and moral virtues.

Furthermore, the Quran contains news of those who came before and those who will come after, as well as wisdom, judgment, and rulings. This does not mean that it delves into every minor detail and subsidiary ruling, but rather it includes what pertains to them in general principles agreed upon by all divine laws, which are: the preservation of religion, life, intellect, lineage, property, and honor.
