What is the wisdom behind the Qur’an being the final and comprehensive heavenly book after the revelation of many previous heavenly books, and does this mean that they were incomplete even before their distortion? And why did God not reveal one book from the beginning of humanity that would be valid for all times and places?

The message of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is comprehensive and universal for all people until the Day of Judgment. It is the Seal of Heavenly Messages because every previous messenger was tasked with addressing the deviation of his time and place, whereas God knew that communication between nations would change after Muhammad's prophethood, which allowed his message to be carried to all people on Earth. Thus, His wisdom necessitated sealing the messages with one comprehensive message.
