Do the Prophetic Hadiths that speak of the word by which its speaker plummets into the Fire, and of the harvests of tongues, refer only to what is uttered by the tongue, or do they also include what is written?

What is written, published, and broadcast falls under the same ruling as what is uttered by the tongue, based on the texts of revelation that encourage good words and warn against evil words. It has been said: "The pen is one of the two tongues." What is published or broadcast can be more impactful and harmful than direct speech due to the large number of its viewers or listeners. Therefore, a Muslim must be careful not to use these means in ways that displease Allah Almighty.
