What is the ruling concerning translations of the Qur’an, Hadith Qudsi, and Hadith containing supplications, and how do we reconcile the fact that Prophetic Hadith are the words of the Messenger (peace be upon him) with the verse: "Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. It is only an Inspiration that is inspired"?

First: The translation of the Holy Qur’an and books of exegesis are not the word of Allah; rather, they are human endeavors in a language other than the language of the Qur’an, or an explanation of its meanings. Their ruling is the ruling of created human speech.

Second: The wording of the noble Prophetic Hadith is from the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while its meaning is a revelation from Allah Almighty.

Third: The wording and meaning of the Hadith Qudsi are from Allah, the Exalted and Most High, and it is uncreated, contrary to those who said that its wording is from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
