Is it permissible to continue working in a job that causes one to miss congregational prayers, under the pretext of its sustainability and helping to bring one's wife over, or is it better to leave it for another job that is not guaranteed but allows one to perform congregational prayers and their supererogatory acts?

There is no blame for a worker to miss congregational prayers if he is in need of the job that causes him to miss them, as fear of harm to one's livelihood is considered a permissible excuse for absence. Nevertheless, a Muslim should strive diligently to find work that enables him to perform prayers in congregation, because congregational prayer is obligatory for an able-bodied man. However, if moving to another job would cause him harm in his livelihood, then there is no harm in him remaining in his current job, and he is excused for his absence.
