Can Satan take the form of prophets in a dream, or is such a vision meaningless?

We have no knowledge regarding the interpretation of dreams. If the person you saw does not match the descriptions of Jesus (peace be upon him) as stated in the Sunnah, then it is not him. Scholars have mentioned that Satan cannot impersonate prophets or angels. Seeing Jesus (peace be upon him) in a dream indicates goodness, blessings, and asceticism. It may also indicate something else, as happened to Judge Al-Awrīs, who dreamt that Jesus (peace be upon him) was asking him about crucifixion. The dream was interpreted to mean that the judge himself would be crucified due to his betrayal.
