What are the things that Satan cannot impersonate in a dream?

Seeing the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a dream is true if he appears in his known form, because Satan cannot impersonate him. As for seeing angels in a dream, it is permissible and established. Some scholars have mentioned that Satan does not impersonate angels in a dream, even though asserting that the one seen in the dream is a specific angel requires contemplation. Regarding seeing other prophets, the relied-upon opinion among some scholars is that Satan's inability to impersonate is not limited to Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, but also includes all prophets and angels. It is stipulated for the validity of seeing prophets that they appear in their known forms.
