What is the ruling on girls aged between 9 and 11 sleeping with their parents in the same room out of fear of thieves?

There is no objection to daughters sleeping in the same room with their parents, provided that the Islamic guidelines for covering are observed. This is supported by the fact that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) slept with his aunt Maymunah. This also indicates the permissibility of sleeping over at the homes of mahrams (unmarriageable kin) when a spouse is present. When engaging in marital intimacy, the spouses must be in a place where no one else is with them. It is disliked for a man to have intercourse with his wife in a way that anyone, young or old, can see them.
