Are the Hudud and Qisas punishments that the Chief Minister of Terengganu decided to implement in the states of Terengganu and Kelantan the Hudud of the Islamic Party and not the Hudud of Islam? And are they unjust rulings that are unfit for application, even though they are based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?

If the rulings of Hudud (punishments) and Qisas (retribution) that the minister ordered to be implemented are from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, then they constitute the general Islamic Law for Muslims. Muslims, both rulers and ruled, must apply these rulings because they are Allah's just decrees in which no one is wronged. By implementing them, justice, stability, and security are achieved. Allah's rulings must be applied in full, not piecemeal, whether they conform to personal desires or contradict them.
