What is the ruling on describing the shortening of a garment as "incongruous and unbeautiful" (bashtanah)?

May Allah reward you for your adherence to the Sunnah by shortening your garment. Whoever describes your commitment with such a bad description has erred. They may be ignorant, so they should be taught and reminded of the Sharia texts gently, and the danger of uttering such words should be clarified, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, a servant may utter a word from the pleasure of Allah, not giving it any thought, by which Allah raises him in ranks. And indeed, a servant may utter a word from the displeasure of Allah, not giving it any thought, by which he falls into Hell." We advise you to accompany the righteous and avoid the wicked, so they may help you in obedience and steadfastness.
