Can I combine prayers individually after congregational prayer in the mosque, even though people are unaware of the concession for combining prayers?

Combining two prayers for rain is a concession according to the majority of scholars. Many scholars are of the opinion that it is not permissible for someone who is not inconvenienced by going to the mosque, or who prays at home, or in a private prayer room, to avail themselves of the concession of combining prayers. The Malikis believe that combining prayers for an individual is not permissible due to the absence of need. However, some scholars hold the view that it is permissible to avail oneself of the concession absolutely if the reason for the concession exists. It is preferable not to combine prayers if the second prayer is performed individually, due to the absence of hardship.
