Is it permissible for a mother to give her Zakat al-Mal to her poor son who spends on her and on his household?

If you find that you have enough for your basic needs, then you are not eligible for zakat. However, if you are poor, it is not permissible for you to take zakat from your mother, because she is obligated to spend on you, except in some cases that some scholars permit.
