Is placing a Quranic verse, such as Ayat al-Kursi, in a frame inside the mosque considered an innovation (bid‘ah)?

Placing Ayat al-Kursi or other Quranic verses within a frame and hanging them in the mosque or home is not an innovation (bid'ah). However, they should not be on the wall directly in front of the worshipers, so as not to distract them from their prayer.
