Does restricting the shortening of gaze to one's spouse negate the permissibility for a woman to see others besides her husband in Paradise, and does it prevent her from going out to the markets of Paradise and seeing men and women? And is the reward for the believing woman in Paradise limited to being a wife only, while the man enjoys all kinds of bounties in Paradise?

What the questioner understood from the verse is incorrect. The women of Paradise will emerge from their tents to chambers and gardens. Allah's statement: "Hoories restrained within pavilions" (Quran 55:72) means that they are confined to their husbands, seeing no one else, or they have restrained their gazes to their husbands out of contentment with them.

The term "restrained" does not refer to restricting their bodies from going out. It should not be understood from the verse that a woman will remain obligated to wear hijab in Paradise, nor that she will be deprived of seeing Allah.

The people of Paradise, both men and women, will share in its blessings, except what is specifically indicated by proof, and women are the counterparts of men in rulings.

A woman will attain whatever she desires in Paradise, as Allah Almighty said: "For them therein is whatever they wish." (Quran 25:16) And in the Qudsi Hadith: "I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived."
