How is the inheritance divided if the heirs are four daughters and a nephew (son of a brother)?

If the deceased leaves behind only four daughters and a nephew (full brother or paternal half-brother), then the daughters receive two-thirds as their prescribed share, equally divided among them, according to the Almighty's saying: ﴿But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of what he left.﴾ The remainder goes to his nephew by way of 'asabah (agnatic inheritance), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative." Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: four shares for the daughters (one share for each) and two shares for the nephew.
