The answer

The questioner must adhere to the condition of the government company he works for and refuse to take the car allowance, in fulfillment of the employment contract and in compliance with the company's condition, as Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [your] contracts," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." He must also avoid taking the car allowance as long as he feels unease about it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Consult your heart... Righteousness is that with which the soul feels tranquil, and sin is that which wavers in the soul and causes uneasiness in the chest," and "Sin is what wavers in your chest, and you dislike that people become aware of it."
