Honesty in Trade
- Do frequent changes in the contractor's terms, and the refusal to treat a work injury, negate the worker's right to claim before God, because he agreed to continue working despite the violations, due to the unavailability of other work?
- Is it permissible to stipulate a fixed minimum monthly invoice in a freelance contract, regardless of the actual hours worked, with an increase in the invoice if the work exceeds this minimum?
- Is it permissible for an aunt who is in need of healthcare and surgery to use the private health insurance of her niece, who does not use it?
- What is the ruling on paying a sum of money to an official employee in the Department of Residence and Foreigners Affairs to renew a wife's residency without a documented lease agreement, due to the difficulty of documenting it, and is this considered a forbidden bribe?

- What is the ruling on working for a government fuel company, as an employee who inspects customer trucks to ensure no theft, knowing that the company imposes corrupt conditions such as letters of guarantee and usurious late penalties? And is this work considered cooperation in sin?
- Is it permissible for the owner of a bookstore to refuse to increase the share of the employees who participate with him in the profits, on the grounds that he is the owner of the bookstore, even though they exert great effort and bring fame to the bookstore, while he does not exert any effort in the work entrusted to them? And is requesting an increase in the share considered a sin?
- Is it permissible to remain abroad and circumvent the terms of the scholarship in order to avoid paying the resulting costs, by taking advantage of the condition of accompanying one's wife?
- Is money earned from a job that does not require constant attendance permissible, except when there are malfunctions, and is employment through واسطة (mediation/nepotage) unlawful?
- What is the ruling on working for an American company operating in the Gulf in the field of computer software, and what is the ruling on the salary and bonuses received from it, knowing that American companies are not free from dealing with usury in their money, and that the work will most likely be within the Gulf countries?
- What is the ruling on working in temporary jobs provided by UNRWA, which involve free mixing, backbiting gatherings, and smoking, and what is the ruling on not adhering to their unjust conditions, and is it permissible for a worker to eat sugar equivalent to the amount used for tea if he works in sugar warehouses, and what is the ruling on bribery to obtain a permanent job?

- Is the money earned from working in a company that sells medical devices with specifications that violate contracts, knowing that my job is to operate the devices and follow up administratively to sign papers, considered entirely or partially unlawful gain? And is the sin removed if I explain the deficiency to the client and ask the official to compensate for it, then the official finds a devious way with the client? And is it advisable to look for another job in this case?
- Is it permissible to dispense medication according to its active ingredient or brand name, based on a person's status or work pressure, knowing that it may require purchasing it from an external pharmacy?
- What is the Shar'i ruling on the amendment made by the Islamic bank to Murabaha and Musawamah contracts, which stipulates the customer's commitment to pay 2% monthly of the overdue amount, to be deposited into a charity account after deducting the bank's actual expenses and with the approval of the Sharia Supervisory Board, and what is the ruling on my continuation of work at this bank which employs Hindu managers, knowing that I am compelled to test this amendment and currently have no alternative?
