Does touching rusty iron and eating something without washing one's hands, knowing the harm of rust, count as throwing oneself into perdition?

It is impermissible to use anything that harms oneself and leads to destruction, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There shall be no harm or reciprocating harm." Accordingly, it is impermissible to eat food before washing one's hands from the residue of iron rust if it is harmful to one's health. Hands should be washed before eating to avoid dirt, based on the hadith: "The blessing of food is ablution before it and ablution after it."
