Does the feeling of shortcoming and psychological unease, despite diligent efforts in worship and housework, signify God's displeasure, and how can one get rid of this feeling?

A Muslim's feeling of shortcoming and fear that their deeds might not be accepted does not mean that Allah is displeased with them. Rather, it is a sign of the perfection of faith. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about the meaning of the Almighty's saying: (And those who give what they give while their hearts are trembling), and he replied that they are Muslims who pray, fast, and give charity, yet they fear that their deeds might not be accepted. The Muslim should add to this feeling a good presumption of Allah and hope for His grace, for Allah is more merciful to His servants and does not let the reward of those who do good go to waste.
