Is it permissible for a father to buy his partner's share in the land at the old price, then sell the entire property at a higher price after his son found a buyer willing to pay double the advertised amount?

If a father wishes to buy his partner's share in a land to sell it at a higher price after finding a buyer willing to pay more, he is permitted to do so. However, this goes against the perfection of faith, which calls for loving good for others as one loves it for oneself. The advice is to sell the land to the buyer at the higher price and give the partner his due, as there is blessing in that. It is important to note that it is impermissible to use the conjunction "wa" (and) to connect the action of a servant with the action of Allah the Almighty; rather, "thumma" (then) should be used instead.
