Is it permissible to be named "Abd Al-Kareemullah"?

First: It is legislated to use names that signify servitude to Allah, such as "Abdullah" (Servant of Allah) and "Abdul-Rahman" (Servant of the Most Merciful), based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, the most beloved of your names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdul-Rahman."

Second: Naming someone "Abdul-Kareemullah" (Servant of Allah's The Generous) is grammatically permissible, where the word of majesty "Allah" functions as an appositive (badal) to the name "Al-Kareem." However, clarity of meaning must be observed, and ambiguity and strangeness that lead to aversion and discord should be avoided. We advise the bearer of this name to change it to "Abdullah" or "Abdul-Kareem" or any clear, religiously permissible name that carries no ambiguity.
