Is the surname Abdallawi prohibited or permissible? Thank you.

It is not permissible to be named with the aforementioned name due to the servitude it implies to other than Allah the Almighty. If "Abdullah" is intended by it, then it is unlawful; it is not permissible for a Muslim to be named with it or to call another by it, due to the distortion it contains of the glorious name of Allah, and it is a form of atheism regarding the names of Allah the Almighty.
