Is it permissible for a son to bear the expenses of his parents' Umrah, knowing that the father refuses and swears he will not go?

May Allah reward the questioner with good and increase his devotion to his parents. It is advised that the father goes for Umrah and expiates his oath, for performing Umrah is better for him. The son has no favor over his father, for no matter how much the son strives to honor his father, he will never fully repay him, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No son can repay his father, unless he finds him enslaved, buys him, and then frees him."
