Is it permissible to re-divide an inheritance of gold that was legally divided 13 years ago, knowing that part of it is still gold, another part was sold and its price was put towards an apartment, and that the father and two of the male siblings have passed away, and this is based on the desire of one of the remaining siblings to divide it equally among the females as gold once again?

If the legal distribution has been completed, then each heir has taken possession of their share, and no one has the right to demand a re-distribution. A mature and sane heir may donate a part of their share, but they do not have the right to compel the other heirs to re-distribute. Allah Almighty has clarified the distribution of inheritance in His Book with the clearest explanation.
