What is the ruling regarding my purchasing of feminine hygiene pads for my brother's wife?

There is no harm in a man buying women's clothing for his wife, so long as there is no fear of temptation (fitna) arising from it. It is preferable for the wife to take care of purchasing her own personal items, or for her husband to send someone to buy them for her.
