Is there a recommended supplication that can be offered for Egypt and its people to free them from the evil of terrorists and restore security and safety?

For the questioner, there are many supplications in the Qur’an and Sunnah suitable for the situation, among them is His (Allah's) saying: "Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers. And forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise." [Quran 60:4-5] and "My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority." [Quran 17:80] and "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance." [Quran 18:10] and "My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people." [Quran 28:21]

And among what is good to repeat is "Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs," for Ibrahim and Muhammad (peace be upon them both) said it. And among what is narrated in the Sunnah: "O Allah, we place You in their throats, and we seek refuge in You from their evils," and the supplication of the boy of the People of the Ditch: "O Allah, suffice me against them however You wish."
