What is the ruling on cursing Jews and Christians, whether as individuals or groups, living or dead?

Lana (cursing) is expulsion and banishment from goodness. It is divided into two types:

The first: Cursing disbelievers and disobedient people in general. This is permissible.

The second: Cursing a specific person, and it has two cases: 1. One who is explicitly mentioned in the texts as cursed, such as Iblis, or one who died upon disbelief, such as Pharaoh. This is permissible. 2. Cursing a specific disbeliever or disobedient person who is not explicitly mentioned in the texts as cursed. There are three opinions on this: - Absolutely impermissible. - Permissible for a disbeliever but not for a disobedient person. - Absolutely permissible.

The most preponderant view is that it is not permissible to curse a specific individual unless his death upon disbelief has been established. As for a specific disobedient person, he should not be cursed due to the Prophet's ﷺ prohibition of it.
