How authentic is the Hadith: "The best charity is reconciling differences between people"?

The aforementioned hadith, in its current wording, is weak, and its chain of transmission revolves around Al-Afriqi, who is weak. As for its authentic wording, it is: "Shall I not inform you of something better than the degree of prayer, fasting, and charity? They said: Yes. He said: Reconciling differences between people, for indeed, discord between people is the 'razor' (that shaves away good deeds)." Narrated by Imam Malik, Ahmad, and others, and authenticated by Al-Albani.
