Does rain, especially the first rain of the season, have a special healing power?

Rain is one of Allah Almighty's greatest blessings and a proof of the Creator's magnificence. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved rain and rejoiced at its descent. He would expose a part of his body to it to receive its blessings. This is recommended at the beginning of rainfall, in imitation of him, peace and blessings be upon him, and to seek blessings from the water which Allah has called mercy, blessed, and purifying. The righteous predecessors also used to recommend seeking blessings from rain at the beginning of its descent. There is no harm in seeking blessings from rain by bathing or drinking, but definitive healing should not be attributed to it unless there is religious evidence.
