What is the ruling regarding my prayers if I am not convinced by the fatwa concerning the impurity of toilet cockroaches due to the lack of evidence for it?

The issue of the ruling on cockroaches in the restroom, regarding purity and impurity, is a matter of disagreement. If the conviction of their impurity is based on evidence by a student of knowledge who acts upon what he deems most probable, then there is no harm. Or, even if he imitates a scholar who has given a fatwa to that effect, it is permissible, provided it is not merely based on desire. The prayers performed with their conditions and pillars are valid, and the crawling of these cockroaches on the ground does not render it impure, according to the soundest opinions of the people of knowledge, due to the difficulty of guarding against it.
