Is it permissible to work in the profession of spelling and linguistic correction for materials dealing with topics related to singers, films and series, or dealing with usurious banks and investment companies?

Songs, films, and TV series involve inciting instincts and arousing desires. Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter." (An-Nur: 19). Usury (riba) is a grave prohibition, and Allah has declared war on those who practice it. Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of riba, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger." (Al-Baqarah: 278-279). It is not permissible to proofread anything related to singing, films, TV series, or usury, as doing so constitutes assistance in their spread and promotion. We have been prohibited from that by His (Allah's) saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." (Al-Ma'idah: 2).
