Is a person considered a Salafi if he insists on cheating and persists in it, or does that take him out of the methodology of Salafism?

Cheating is a sin that indicates a weak religious deterrent. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." This shows the seriousness of cheating. The cheater must be advised and urged to repent, as long as the matter does not relate to creed and has not reached the level of innovation in religion. Indeed, the Companions did not expel those who committed major sins from faith or companionship; rather, they urged them to repent and enforced the prescribed punishments upon them.
