Did the Messenger, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, single out his brethren who would come after him with a prayer for good?

The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was merciful to his Ummah, keen on their salvation, and he wept out of fear for them. So, Allah gave him the glad tidings that He would satisfy him concerning his Ummah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, specifically honored those who believed in him but did not see him with great virtue, stating: "Blessed is he who believed in me and saw me once, and blessed is he who believed in me and did not see me, seven times." He also gave them the glad tidings of meeting him at the Pond, where he would recognize them by the mark of ablution, so he could precede them to it. Whoever desires these virtues should adhere to his guidance and Sunnah.
