Is the money withdrawn by the questioner from his contribution to an internet cafe project, in which he ceased working due to suspicion of it being unlawful, considered lawful or unlawful money?

What was earned in exchange for something forbidden is forbidden and must be disposed of. What was earned in exchange for something permissible is permissible. If the forbidden mixes with the permissible, the proportion of the forbidden should be estimated and disposed of, and the permissible remains permissible. This applies if there is a profit exceeding the principal capital. However, if no profits are realized, then the transaction must be abandoned and one must repent to Allah.
